I thought it was refreshing when Chrissy Teigen shared her struggle with post-partum depression and unmasked some of her insecurities. We need to reduce the stigma surrounding mental health.

7 Tips for Maintaining a Positive Attitude
I can definitely relate to Langston Hughes’ poem Mother to Son because, “Life for me [truly] ain’t been no crystal stair.” In my twenty-seven years on this earth, I’ve been up, I’ve been down, I’ve had good times, and I’ve had some pretty tough times. In the last few years or so I’ve had no control over my biggest stressors. Yet, one thing I’ve learned is to keep pushing, and eventually life will get better. And even if life doesn’t get better, I adjust my attitude. Ultimately, I’ve been able to deal with what life throws at me.
Below lists the 7 ways I’ve fought to maintain a positive attitude in every area of my life. I am by no means an expert, but I have had a few major crises that have taught me a few things.
Current Summer Reading List
It’s been too long! I decided not to blog during my first year of law school, but I’m thrilled to be back. I recently began my summer internship. While that is exciting, I’m looking forward to spending my time outside of work reading, relaxing, traveling, catching up with friends, and taking care of business.
